Overview
In late 2025, in partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara, McCarthy Companies was awarded the preconstruction and general contracting for Jacaranda Court in Santa Barbara, California. This new affordable housing project is focused on providing affordability for the “missing middle” households in the region, typically defined as earning between 80% and 120% of area median income (AMI).
The property will provide 63 rental apartment homes in three- and four-story buildings with a mix of studios, on-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
